National Management Benchmark
The National Management Benchmark is an intensive six-month development program designed to provide emerging managers with exposure to key issues in managing teams and resources. Incorporating the nationally recognised Diploma of Management, the Benchmark Program has been developed in consultation with the Workplace Training Advisory Australia.

Under the guidance of WTAA's various industry channels the focus for the benchmark has been on creating a recognised standard for compelling and sustainable developmental outcomes across all sectors.

Australian Applied Management Colloquium
The Australian Applied Management Colloquium sets a new standard in the provision of practice-based, outcome-driven management development education. Spread over an intensive 8-month schedule, the Colloquium focuses on the critical dimensions of effective people management, providing a platform for mid-level managers to explore their own strengths, weaknesses and opportunities as they relate to building and maintaining highly effective teams.

Alternating between delivery modes the Colloquium creates a uniquely engaging and challenging learning environment equipping students with the insights, skills and confidence to accelerate their own careers whilst driving optimal performance within their workplace. Underpinned by extensive research carried out by the Workplace Training Advisory of Australia the program responds to a widespread need to increase the quality of Australian workplaces by understanding and enhancing the critical dimensions of managing people.

The Management Development Intensive Program
The MDIP is an intensive 4 day program, spread over 8 weeks, providing an accelerated developmental experience for frontline and mid-level managers. The MDIP employs a blended learning methodology based around peer knowledge-sharing, experiential exercises, and practical workplace application and reflection. Throughout the program, learning is related back to the day-to-day realities and challenges of each participant.

This process is enhanced through participant-generated discussions that unlock the existing skills and experience within the group. The program is underpinned by research and development carried out by the Australian School of Applied Management and aligns with the highly respected Australian Applied Management Colloquium.

Australian Applied Leadership Program
The Australian Applied Leadership Program is a nine month program designed to optimise the leadership skills and performance of senior managers.

Exploring the intrinsic link between leadership and organisational effectiveness the programs central aim is to develop the individual's ability to lead strategically, with a long term focus, and lead large teams through complex change. Alternating between a series of learning methods, ASAM's senior faculty members work one-on-one with students to assist them to identify and achieve real-time organisational goals.

For Australian organisations, the Australian Applied Leadership Program provides a practice-based, outcome-focused developmental experience designed to drive immediate and sustainable outcomes.

Customised Programs
Increasingly, organisations are calling on ASAM to deliver customised programs, tailored to meet the specific needs of their employees. These programs typically comprise a careful blend of capability analyses, tailored development interventions and on-going assessment and evaluation.

Industry Recognition Scheme
In line with the expectations of ASAM's primary stakeholders and the broader Australian market, an industry recognition scheme will see that graduates of the Australian Applied Management Colloquium and the Australian Applied Leadership Program are recognised in ways that are readily identified by current and future employers. Under the scheme, graduates receive a Certificate of Attainment, permission to use post-nominals and a detailed Statement of Achievement.

Certificate of Attainment
Each graduate receives a Certificate of Attainment. This provides a permanent acknowledgement of their successful completion of the program.

Post Nominal
Graduates of the Australian Applied Management Colloquium will be permitted to use the post-nominal AAMC. Similarly, graduates of the Australian Applied Leadership Program will be permitted to use the post-nominal AALP.

Statement of Achievement
Each graduate receives an electronic Statement of Achievement. The Statement of Achievement details all the modules completed.
