Faculty and Research
ASAM engages the skills and expertise of an extensive team of facilitators, trainers, coaches and content developers – who provide a wide variety of specialised services across all Australian states and territories.

The ASAM Faculty of Learning sits at the helm of this extensive pool of talent. These Senior Facilitators – comprising highly credentialed educators from Europe, North America and Australia – continue to set new standards in the development and delivery of management education.

Kirk Fisher - Head of Faculty
Following an extensive search, Kirk was hand-picked for the role of ASAM Faculty Head from his hometown of New England, USA. For the last 20 years, Kirk has worked in developing leadership, innovation and change. Early in his career Kirk founded two successful alternative schools. Directing these schools led to a passion and curiosity about how people work, and how organisations become learning organisations. Kirk developed this interest into his current work, facilitating and consulting with leading organisations around Australia.

Kirk has presented papers and workshops at conferences on leadership and storytelling, and he organised the 2009 'Future of Work' conference. He was an award-winning classical and jazz musician in his youth, and still performs occasionally. He has a Master's degree in Education and Human Development, a Diploma of Business, Diploma of Business HR and a Bachelor of Music Performance.

In his role as Faculty Head, Kirk holds a range of portfolio responsibilities. He closely oversees the continual development of the Australian Management Development Framework. Kirk also reviews ASAM's two-way engagement with its National Advisory Board, and ensures that Board input remains a strong part of the programming of all of ASAM's management courses.
